Dr. Suhail Suresh is an orthopaedic surgeon at Sunway Medical Centre in Malaysia. He has a keen interest in joint replacement surgery, arthroscopy, computer-aided joint replacement, fracture fixation, hip and knee replacement revision surgery, knee arthroplasty, and orthopedic trauma surgery.
He completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1995 and Masters in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2002. He then travelled to Australia for his training in revision hip replacement and impaction bone grafting at Prince Charles Hospital (2003) and arthroplasty fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (2004). He also received training in ACL injuries in Thailand (2008), advanced traumatology in Germany (2003), primary and revision total hip surgery in the United Kingdom (2004), and revision total knee replacement in Canada (2005).
He is a member of the Malaysian Osteoporosis Society, Asia Pacific and Malaysian Orthopaedic Associations, and the Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Society.
