Dr. Tai Cheh Chin is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Ara Damansara Medical Centre in Malaysia.
He specialises in the surgical treatment of various musculoskeletal conditions, including bone and joint injuries, deformities, and diseases, fractures, hip and knee disorders, meniscal tears, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and sports injuries.
He often performs knee and hip replacement and revision surgery, arthroscopic and arthroplasty surgery as well as repair and reconstruction of damaged soft tissue, meniscus, ligament, and cartilage.
Dr. Tai graduated from the University of Cambridge with his medical degree. He then pursued his fellowships at various hospitals in different countries. He is trained in AO trauma surgery (Germany), hip reconstruction (Australia), general surgery (London), and knee and sports medicine (Australia). Dr. Tai is both a member and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (Trauma and Orthopaedics).
He is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, Asia Pacific, British, and Malaysian Orthopaedic Associations, and the National Arthritis Foundation.
